Also in the hadith narrated by Abu Harairah (r.a), the Prophet (S.A.W) gave a speech and said: "O people, Hajj has been ordered for you, so Hajj is". One person asked: "O Messenger of God! Is it every year? The Prophet (s.a.w) remained silent until someone repeated that question three times. Then the Prophet said: "If I had said 'yes', it would have been obligatory to perform Hajj every year and there would have been no choice" (Muslim).
Hajj is prescribed for Muslims who are able to travel and pay for the journey and the pilgrimage, once in their life. A person who has the ability to perform Hajj, who deliberately stops performing Hajj, is not a Muslim, even if he continues to call himself a Muslim and people will continue to call him that because Allah (swt) says " And whoever denies it (does not go even if he is able) then Almighty God is not in need, in need of the worlds" (3:97).
These words of Allah (s.w.) have no need for their Islam, and their good deeds they did will fly in vain because Allah (s.w.) has no need for them. In showing the evil of denying the evil of denying this order of Hajj, the Prophet (S.A.W) says in a hadith narrated by Ali (r.a) that: Whoever has the ability to perform Hajj in the House of Allah but does not do so when he dies will be no different from a Jew or a Christian and that is because Allah (swt) said:... " And Allah has commanded people to perform Hajj in that House, whoever is able to make the journey there..." (3:97) (Tirmidh). It is on this basis that the Prophet (s.a.w) ordered in a hadith narrated by Ibn Abbas (r.a): "Whoever is involved in the Hajj, let him hasten". (Abu Daud, Darimi).
Therefore, if a person reaches puberty and is in good health and able to pay for the Hajj journey, that worship will be an obligation for him and if he does not perform it at that time and it turns out that ability has ended after the Hajj, then he should know well that he has violated the obligation of the Hajj. Therefore, every time a Muslim finds the ability to perform Hajj, he must perform Hajj at the same time.
Hajj and Umrah are high-level acts of worship that are promised a great reward in front of Allah (S.W) as we learn from the following hadiths: Abu Hurairah (r.a) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.w.) said: whoever completes the Hajj for the sake of Allah without speaking evil words and doing evil deeds, he will return free from sin) like the day he was born to his mother" (Bukhari) and Muslim), Abu Hurairah (r.a) has again narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "Umrah as an atonement for the sins committed in the period between this Umrah and the Umrah following the completed Hajj has no reward other than Paradise." (Bukhari and Muslim).
